Join Vantage Ventures as we continue our celebration of National Entrepreneurship with a live, interactive panel discussion with our Fintech entrepreneurs.
 
Our panel for Fintech: Perspectives for the Future, will be hosted by Steven Saab, Director of Portfolio Management at MVB Edge Ventures.
 
We will feature Vantage Fintech Entrepreneurs and chat with them on their journey and the big ideas that they will be tackling in the Fintech world. Come hear their inspirational stories, including their start-ups’ origin stories, their biggest challenges, and what led them to success. Our roundtable discussion will follow a specific format, covering the relevant topics and allow space for questions and networking.

Lee Farabaugh
Co-Founder & President at Core10, Inc.
Lee Farabaugh is a senior technology design, operations and business development expert in financial technology (fintech) and healthcare technology. In 2016, she co-founded Core10, an innovative software development company with locations in Huntington, W.Va., Morgantown, W.Va., Martin, Tenn., Johnson City, Tenn., and Nashville, Tenn., pioneering the Hereshore® model for US-based technology outsourcing.
Lee serves as President of Core10 and leads the Services arm of the business, which includes building banking and lending products, API integrations, and supporting SaaS products to enable digital transformation in the community banking space.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts from Wake Forest, a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Institute of Technology.
 
Jacob Lysick
Chief Marketing Officer at OrionBlockSystems, Inc.
Jacob serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of OrionBlockSystems, Inc. He was Appointed on the Board of Directors for OrionBlockSystems, Inc. and currently works in the development of their cybersecurity measures, integrating Biometrics with Blockchain Technology.
As a Blockchain Engineer, Jacob has developed protocols in Bitcoin & Blockchain Technology and has been involved in creating growth for many industries in technology, supply chain & business consultation. Coordinating with hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Jacob helped in the distribution of critical medical equipment to facilities that were functioning on outdated technologies. He has consulted and participated in newly emerging businesses.
Jacob serves as Co-Founder of Prime Data Rescue. His parallel vision for applying Blockchain into the needs for all businesses, customers, and government is central to the mission of the company.
 
Jason Tortorete
Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Nickel Finance, Inc. (NickelFi).
Vantage Ventures Entrepreneur Jason Tortorete serves as the CEO and Co-founder of Nickelfi.
Nickelfi’s interactive platform offers one place where modern finance users, charitable givers, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses unite to create positive change every day. As a catalyst for change, their mission is to accelerate global change for good by putting purpose before anything else. Nickelfi is developing a next-gen financial technology mobile app and ecosystem that will help financially-minded people become more effective with their money and build meaningful relationships with local businesses and charities.
For over 6 years, Jason has helped dozens of software application teams bring their products to life in the cloud and on your devices. He has worked with companies such as UPMC Enterprises, focusing on Healthcare and Healthcare adjacent products and services, and most recently Disney Streaming Services, where he works on the Disney+ streaming service. As a skilled cloud practitioner, Jason is deeply interested in the future of financial technology, its implications for our daily lives, and the impact that it could have on popular global and local services and systems.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Indiana University.

Steven Saab
Director of Portfolio Management at MVB Edge Ventures
Steven is a process, strategy and operations professional working to help modernize the banking industry through innovations in fintech. He currently serves as the Director of Portfolio Management for MVB Edge Ventures, part of MVB Bank based out of North Central WV, where he supports the operations and growth of fintech start ups in Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), digital wallets, and cashless casino services.
Previously, Steven worked as a software development product manager for Federal clients with Deloitte Consulting in Washington, DC area. He is a native from Morgantown, WV and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University's Statler College of Engineering.
