Applications due July 22 by noon.
Summer activities may look a little different this year but, here at WVU, we are still committed to our outreach mission to serve our state’s youth and inspire entrepreneurship. West Virginia students in grades K-12 will have the opportunity to share ideas about creating a business. Students can submit one innovative idea of a product or service, or they can submit a business idea that focuses on improving their community, our state or society as a whole. This competition will include two rounds and is open to for-profit and not-for-profit ideas. In round one, students submit a 90-second video including the student’s business idea and why it would be successful. The top videos in each category – elementary, middle and high school – will move on to the final round (round two) of the competition by submitting a 3-minute video, then answering live Q&A with judges on August 5.
Please share this opportunity with any K-12 student you may know! Applications due July 22 by noon. To learn more about the West Virginians Forge Ahead Pitch Competition, visit: https://launch.wvu.edu/programs/west-virginians-forge-ahead
