Elementary Sports Performance Camp Instruction will concentrate on functional movement patterns, injury prevention, speed, agility and quickness. Athletes will use bodyweight, resistance bands and/or very light weights during training sessions. Session 1: June 28th - July 14th Mondays & Wednesdays - 7:30- 8:30 a.m. Session 2: August 2nd - 18th Mondays & Wednesdays - 7:30- 8:30 a.m. Speed & Agility Camp Instruction will focus on fundamental running mechanics, drills and strength-building exercises. The goal of this camp is to help participants improve acceleration, deceleration, lateral and linear speed. This camp will also teach participants knee and ankle injury prevention exercises to reduce the risk of injury during their athletic careers.
