Join the Mylan Park Foundation for the Ribbon Cutting at the new Hazel & JW McQuain Community Center - Sports Complex. Twenty years ago, the original Board members of the Mylan Park Foundation -who were community visionaries- purchased abandoned mine reclamation land off of Chaplin Road. The Board had a vision to turn this area into a regional tourism destination, but during the first year, they could only construct four baseball and softball fields. Now, Mylan Park is a full-service tourism, sports, wellness, and events destination spanning across 400 acres of reclaimed beautiful West Virginia countryside. Today, the park offers 14 different indoor and outdoor facilities comprised of over 60 acres of athletic field space and more than 225,000 sq. ft. of indoor sport, recreation, and event spaces.
Time schedule:
