Description
Learn to capture impressions from nature in a field setting. In this workshop led by artist and author Linda S. Gribko, you’ll explore the woods of early spring and, through a series of quick sketches, will learn to render bark textures using a graphite pencil. Using bold strokes, you’ll express light, shadow, and detail in less than perfect renderings that will get you seeing nature in a new way. Materials will be provided or bring your own if you prefer. Ages 14 and up. $25 for WVBG members, $35 for non-members.
