Influenza: Past, Present, Future
Description
OLLI at WVU will host a public lecture by Karen S. Long on the structure and function of the influenza virus, 20th century pandemics, last year's U.S. epidemic, and future trends in vaccines and treatment options. Karen S. Long is retired from the WVU Department of Medical Laboratory Science where she taught clinical microbiology and immunology.
