Home Run and Hops Craft Beer Festival

The West Virginia Black Bears and Monongalia County Ballpark would like to invite you to join us for Home Run and Hops Craft Beer Festival on September 29th, 2018 from 12 to 6 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m. This year Home Run and Hops is proud to partner with United Way of Mongolia and Preston Counties’ Mac & Cheese Cook Off. Guests will have the opportunity to taste over 50 craft brews from 25+ breweries including a variety of WV brewed and domestic U.S. brews. The Mac & Cheese Cookoff tasting is a separate purchase once inside of the stadium. Attendees are invited to sample the versatile cheesy pasta dish from Iron Horse, Table 9, Bourbon Prime, The Crossings, Cheese Louis, and Sodexo for $2 per sample. Pre-sale tickets are $35 and $40 the day of the event. All individuals will receive 20, 3oz, taste tickets with additional tasting tickets available for $1.50. Guests will also receive a souvenir tasting cup to take home. If you’re coming as a designated driver or only the Mac N’ Cheese Cookoff, entry tickets are $5. A portion of each ticket sold and Mac N’ Cheese samples from the day’s events will go to benefit the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties. Live music will be presented by local bands, Weary Space Wanderer and Rock Bass. There will also be a cornhole tournament presented by WCLG and area vendors on site. Must be 21 or older to purchase tickets for the event. No one under 21 will be permitted in the ballpark. Please, no children or strollers. Also, please do not bring pets to the event.
