This event will bring municipal and county leaders together for an interactive discussion about current issues facing Monongalia County's cities, towns, and rural areas. Join your hosts the Morgantown Area Partnership and the Morgantown Board of Realtors for a leadership breakfast sponsored by Southern Airways Express and venue sponsored by Apis Creative. Panelists are:
Panel members will give a short presentation on the top 1-2 issues facing their area of governance. Moderators from the Governmental Affairs Committee will then present a series of questions about plans and actions underway to address these and other issues of interest. An open Q&A with audience members will follow.

About Government Affairs Committee:
Dan Miller is chair of the Partnership’s Government Affairs committee, senior scientist with Postesta & Associates, Inc., and owner of Miller Consulting Associates, Inc. Miller’s work focuses on groundwater management, including water quality analysis; systems assessment, design, and management; and brownfield land reclamation via commercial fish farming.
Melissa Hornbeck is interim co-chair of the Government Affairs Committee and a member of the Partnership’s Board of Directors. Hornbeck serves as Broker of White Diamond Realty, where she is active in the real estate industry at the local, state, and national levels.
Charlie Russell is a Government Affairs Committee member and associate attorney with Steptoe & Johnson where he specializes in business law. Russell has also worked as a quality control analyst and title abstractor.
Emily Sipes is a Government Affairs Committee member and the leasing manager for WestRidge Business & Retail Park. Prior to joining WestRidge, Sipes was based in downtown Pittsburgh and managed office and industrial leasing across 11 business parks for the Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC).
